Participants must be registered before the program begins. Participant registration is complete when payment has been received.
Some programs have limited enrollment, so sign up today!
If the program is not listed below, the class may be full or has already begun.

Classes change depending on the season, so check back regularly to find new things to do. For the list of programs we offer, class descriptions, and general information, visit www.cityofsalem.net/Recreation.

STRIDE 5k/10k Run/Walks

Participate in one or all the STRIDE run/walk events taking place in some of Salem's most loved parks. STRIDE is held once a month on a Saturday morning, May-September.

Strollers and dogs on leash are welcome. Bibs are available on the event day.

Course maps are emailed after 5 p.m. the night before the event takes place. Courses in Bush's Pasture Park are on hard and soft trails. Courses in Riverfront and Minto-Brown Island Parks take place on hard trails.

T-shirts are available for purchase at the event, $15 per shirt.
