Participate in one or all of the STRIDE run/walk events, taking place in some of Salem’s most loved parks, and held once a month on a Saturday morning, June-October.
Strollers and dogs on a leash are welcome. Bibs are available on event day.
Courses in Bush’s Pasture and Wallace Marine Park utilize soft and hard trails. Courses in Minto-Brown Island Park take place on hard trails.

City tennis classes are divided into age-appropriate levels by ball type. Green Dot classes work on playing full court, developing basic skills using the standard a 78-foot court, tennis balls, and racquet.

Come out and play! Participants will be matched up with a new opponent each week. Best of 3 sets, winning by at least 2 games, no Ad scoring. Match play is great for players wanting to develop their game and play tennis.
The summer recreational All Comer Track & Field Meets offer participants an opportunity to complete in a fun, recreational atmosphere! Includes about 1.5 hours of climbing, rappelling training and practice followed by a 45-minute hike into the ancient forest. Participants spend 1-2 hours climbing before setting up camping equipment, with the guides' help. (Sleeping height can be customized.) Once settled in and cozy, enjoy the views before falling asleep. The next morning around 7 a.m., everyone wakes up and starts the process of packing, rappelling down, and hiking back to the original meeting location. Dinner and breakfast, prepared by the guides, is included in the experience.
