The Jingle Bell Relays is a 1k loop completed 5 times as a team of 1 or more people. Glow sticks will be given to teams for handing off to the next person completing the 1k loop.
The relay becomes more fun as the Riverfront Holiday Lights Display brightens up the park!
Strollers and dogs on leash are welcome.
Join a Park Ranger and Recreation staff for a short talk about some of the animals in Minto-Brown Island Park. As it starts to get dark, take a guided 2-mile walk on soft trails to listen and look for our after dark friends.
This program is for 9-12 year olds. If a parent or guardian would like to participate also, please register as a family. This walk takes place rain or shine. Dress for the weather and muddy trails.
Adaptive component: For ages 9-12 not able to walk 2 miles, if they can walk a 1/2 mile, and if they can also bring and carry something to sit on, we will walk to where the first bridge is to sit and listen for night life while the rest of the group completes the walk.
Join us for a run/walk before the Thanksgiving feasting begins! Dressing up is encouraged, strollers and dogs on leash are welcome.
Course maps are emailed after 5 p.m. the night before the event takes place.
