1 9/29/2023 Jamie Donaldson Info Requested Hi Jordan, There were several contacts on the building permit, so I wasnt exactly sure who to send this to, but I figure you can forward it to the right person. Revisions are required for the deferred landscape permit 22-119901-01 at the subject address. They are as follows: 1. Pursuant to SRC 807.020(a)(4), the location and size of plant materials, identified by common and botanical names, are required for the group of trees labeled as a mix of Birch, Maple, Parrotia, and Nyssa. More detail on the specific types of varieties to be used is required to confirm they would qualify as 10 PU each. 2. In addition, there was a 30-inch Oak indicated near the landscaped areas on previous plans, which should still be shown on the landscape plan to ensure it is not removed. Where the development site is heavily wooded, only those trees that will be affected by the proposed development need to be sited accurately. The remaining trees may be shown on the plan in the general area of their distribution. 3. It is not clear why there is a path indicated adjacent to the far east parking stalls, as it was not indicated on any of the previous site plans approved. Please clarify why this might be necessary and what materials it would be made of, or indicate installation of landscape instead. 4. The trash enclosure orientation and adjacent planter do not reflect the most recent changes that were made to the site plan; please revise. 5. Information on the type of grass to be used in lawn areas was not provided; please include details on lawn areas. 6. Please include plans to grass/seed all dilapidated lawn areas on site, pursuant to SRC 807.045. 7. There is text within the cul-de-sac that indicates a Future Restroom Addition, which is assumed to be a typo as it would not be permitted within the street. Please clarify and/or remove from landscape plans. Please adjust the corrections above and resubmit via the PAC Portal to allow review of the dwelling permit to continue. 2 12/8/2023 Jamie Donaldson Info Requested Hi Tim, I got your voicemail. Apologies, Ive had quite a few permits come back to me at once I just fell behind. Looking at this now, it seems everything else was addressed except the tree location, quantity, and size issue. The plans should indicate where each tree is proposed on the plan, and the size and PU value assigned to it. It should essentially look how it does with the shrubs, where the plans show their exact locations. Please note: trees proposed as shade trees should be planted primarily for their high crown of foliage or overhead canopy, and shall be 1.5 in. to 2 in. caliper when planting. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
