Good Morning Don,
Checking in on the Belle Plaine Subdivision project. Technically, the Plan Approval for the Public Construction Permit plans expired 6-months after the date of the attached letter pursuant to SRC 77.091. However, please let me know if the project is active and if a Plan Approval Extension Letter is required.

Message Curtis, Update on Belle Plaine. We had to refinance our project the lender we had, had some financial issues and couldn't payout on our loan. We are just finishing up and ready to start back up. Dang rain!! We are going to need till end of May to finish everything. I'll have the bond set up and should be ready before the end of the month. What do you need us to do. |

To Date, only the Sanitary Sewer permits have been issued for BELLE PLAINE SUBD project. No permits have been issued for the Streets, Stormwater, Water, and Center Street Frontage Improvements. The attached Plan Approval Letter from March 2, 2022 detailed the items the City needs in order to issue the remaining permits the project. The critical items we still need in order to issue these permits are:
1.) 100 percent performance security for the Center Street frontage improvements. A performance security in the amount of $224,644 is required. Im attaching the Citys Construction & Maintenance Bond form as an option, but the security can also be provided by Cash/Check, Escrow Account, or an Irrevocable Line of Credit.
2.) We will need updated Contractors Proof of Insurance and Workers Comp.
3.) Updated Construction Schedule
4.) Prior to working in the Public ROW, a traffic control plan / Work in ROW permit will need to be obtained. Please contact Ron Adkins, Senior Traffic Technician, at 503-588-6211 ext 7359 for more details.
5.) I believe that Item #2 of attached 03-02-22 Plan Approval Letter, regarding the wetland fill permits has been provided. But Don Jensen should review the USA Corp Approval and make sure that they are complying with the Conditions of that permit.
