Pamela, Thanks for providing this information to me. The Building Department as you know has concerns for anything in the private side crossing adjacent property lines and will not issue permits prior to a legal method of combining the lots into one for Building Permit purposes. It appears the applicants want to allow zero lot line setbacks prior to the creation of a single lot. This is actually permitted if the buildings have the proper fire rating and opening protection as required by the OSSC code. |
