In doing a cursory review of the submitted application for the Class 2 Site Plan Review for address 3995 Rickey St SE, we have determined that there are items missing making the application incomplete. Please see the attached letter for details on how to proceed.
Attached you will find the referenced denial of the sign variance discussed over the phone this morning as well as in the incomplete letter. This will be worth reviewing when weighing the decision to move forward with this site plan review. There seems to have been a miscommunication regarding vehicle viewing signs and the Salem Sign code. Per 900.200(b)(6), only one vehicle viewing sign is permitted for a businesses in the CR zone. Kirsten and I discussed this and she had actually said this so I believe the code interpretation did not get relayed in a way where we were all on the same page. There are changes proposed to the sign code that may make two vehicle viewing signs possible in the future (TDB on date) but it would not be approved if submitted in the short-term. If you need more information on that please let me know.

As we discussed, we are aware that the permit is set to expire today if it cannot be determined as complete. Thank you in advance for fitting this in to your schedule to try to help us meet that deadline.
I have posted all of the comment response documents to the permit portal, including the attached revised application form. I have listed myself as the applicant and Sherri as the agent on the application, since she has signing authority.
