Fire department access is required to be provided within 150 feet of all portions of the structures and fire department access over 150 feet requires an approved fire department turnaround. The apartments will require an approved fire sprinkler system. The FDC is required to be located near the main entrance and shall be located within 100 feet of a fire hydrant. The hose lay shall not obstruct fire department access. All portions of the structures shall be within 600 feet of a fire hydrant. All measurements are made along an approved route. |
