Polymer Clay - Blending Clay Colors and Caning (Activity # 1013)

Learn to make a simple Skinner Blend using only 2 colors to create a Retro designed cane that can be used for all kinds of projects. We will make a small collage or pendant for our project. Registered students will be sent a recorded Zoom video that will introduce the class basics. Supplies needed: 1 light color clay, 1 dark color clay, rolling pin, razor blade, cardboard, playing cards or popsicle sticks, tape, foil.**Optional tools but not needed: 2” round jar or glass, cookie cutter, baking sheet, parchment paper, ceramic tile, Xacto knife.
In order to attend this class online you will need a laptop computer, desk computer w/ camera and microphone, smartphone or tablet. After you have registered for this class you will receive a ZOOM invitation and a How to ZOOM guide.
